Deployment.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot. How once I’m done with my job training I’ll be back at home in the ‘stand by ready bench’ waiting to go. Waiting for those orders to come. What it’ll say, how long it’ll be for, what exactly is my assignment..I can only imagine.
I signed a 6 year contract with the United States Army. There’s a huge chance of deployment. Especially since a lot of reservist have been activated lately. But if they need me, I’ll do it. Like my drill sergeant said 9/11 was no joke. This is what I’ve been trained for. Only concerns are the unknown of what’s gonna happen.
